How to Order

Please have a good look around my weddings pages to get familiar with my work and my style.
You'll get plenty of ideas about the kind of looks I can give to you and the sorts materials that I work with.
You'll probably have loads of questions and some ideas of your own.
Get in touch for a discussion and I'll be able to give you more prices and work out an approximate cost for for order.
I'll work with you to get the right designs for your theme and budget.

If you send me your postal address, and let me know what colours you are interested in, I will send you some leather cuttings*.

Getting a place in my work diary is probably more important than finalising the actual details of your order. You do this by paying a 50% deposit. This confirms your order and enables you to book a specific 'slot' in my schedule.

If you are booking less than 4 weeks before I'm due to start work, or your total order value is less than £125, I will need payment in full with your order.

Diary slots are available on a "1st come, 1st served" basis. When all available slots are filled I can accept no further wedding commissions.

 

 

When I receive your deposit I'll confirm your start date and give you an estimated date of when your roses will be finished. You will know exactly when I will be making your leather roses and depending on the size of your order it usually takes me 1-2 weeks to complete a commission. 

I will also let you know the latest date that you can make changes, alterations and additions.

The final 50% balance is due when the work is completed. I have limited storage space in my work room and will need to send your order to you as soon as possible.

Some Frequently asked questions..

When do you recommend placing my order?

The amount of orders I can accept is strictly limited and I will not compromise quality by over booking.I will make your leather roses for you entirely by hand and there is only one of me. I will say 'no' when I am fully booked.
So to answer the question - Reserve your place as soon as you can. You can check diary availability with me at any time - just send me an email
Please note that I don't schedule wedding commissions for the beginning of February because of Valentines Day.

 

Can you help with colour matching?
I will send you cuttings of leather that I have in stock at the time you request cuttings. It is unlikely to be the actual leather that I will use to make your roses, but it will give you a very good idea of what to expect. Dye lots do vary slightly between different batches of leather.

If you are colour matching please let me know. Shades vary more with some colours than others and I'll advise accordingly. I do realise that colour can be of critical importance to some themes and I'll work with you to help.

One way forward is for me to order your leather as soon as you pay your deposit and send you further cuttings of the actual leather that I will be using.

How far in advance can I book?

I will accept bookings up to a year in advance of the date you want me to start work on your roses.

But (for example) if your wedding date isn't for 2 years and you want your roses early so that you can theme your wedding/match your dress etc, go ahead and book a place in my diary!

Your leather roses will store perfectly until you need them. Getting your wedding flowers in advance means one less thing to worry about as the big day approaches.

I always prefer to deliver the roses at least a month in advance of your actual wedding day.

How do I pay?


I will send you a Paypal money request.
Paypal is safest and most secure online payment method. You do not need a Paypal account.
Paypal is trusted by millions of people worldwide to send money online.
Paypal must be used by international customers.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you cancel your order up to 4 months before the date you have booked me to start work I will refund your deposit in full less a 5% handling charge

If you cancel your order between 12 - 15 weeks before the date you have booked me to start work I will refund 75% of your deposit less a 5% handling charge

If you cancel your order between 11 - 8 weeks before the date you have booked me to start work I will refund 50% of your deposit. less a 5% handling charge

If you cancel your order less than 8 weeks before the date you have booked me to start work your deposit is non-refundable.
